Hi Everyone
Spring term is now in full swing and I am enjoying my classes. Academic
calendars in the United States are generally determined by term systems,
including the semester system, quarter system, or the trimester system. These
systems divide the school year.
Gustavo Dudamel
Music transcends borders and is beloved all over the world. Over
the last few years Gustavo Dudamel has entertained and inspired music lovers as
the Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The Philharmonic performs
at the beautiful Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles. Los Angeles
is very lucky to have such a brilliant conductor.
Sports
I have decided to not only update accomplishments of baseball
players but I will now also provide updates on Venezuelan athletes across many
sports. The Major League Baseball season starts in April.
Greivis Vasquez - NBA
Vasquez has averaged 7.9 points per game this year while playing
for the New Orleans Hornets. The Hornets record so far this season is 5 wins
and 23 losses. Vasquez plays Guard and is very fast.
Jhonattan Vegas - PGA Tour Golf
Vegas will be playing this week at the Northern Trust Open in Los
Angeles, California.

marcha y la estoy pasando muy bien en mis clases. Los calendarios académicos en

La música trasciende las fronteras y es
apreciada en todo el mundo. En años recientes Gustavo Dudamel ha entretenido e
inspirado a los amantes de la música como Director Musical de la Filarmónica de
Los Ángeles. La Filarmónica se presenta en la bella Sala de Conciertos Walt
Disney en el centro de Los Ángeles. Los Ángeles tiene la suerte de contar con
tan brillante director de orquesta.
Deportes
He decidido no solamente actualizar sobre
los logros de los beisbolistas sino también sobre otros atletas venezolanos en
muchos otros deportes. Las Grandes Ligas del Beisbol comienzan en abril.

Vásquez ha logrado un promedio de 7.9 puntos
por juego este año con los Hornets de Nueva Orleans. El record de los Hornets
hasta ahora en esta temporada es 5 juegos ganados y 23 juegos perdidos. Vasquez
juega como base y es muy rápido.
